TAYLOR E.
Maybe you've said what I use to say about summer sales jobs: "Oh look, another sales company is holding an information meeting where they'll serve pizza, promise easy money and hire people as long as they have a face. Then they'll offer shallow training, dump them off by the dozen into random neighborhoods and hope 50% of their new recruits last long enough for the company to earn back the money they paid out for the pizza meetings." My experience at Bulwark was entirely different.
First, the hiring process was selective. I was hired because of my work experience, natural abilities and work ethic. Second, I wasn't taught high-pressure and annoying sales tactics. Instead, I learned principles of oral advocacy and persuasion that I've never learned anywhere else. Third, I was given autonomy instead of being micro managed: I drove my own car, set my own hours, and with proper coaching, developed my own sales style that not only made me highly successful but that brought out the best in my natural abilities.
With the money I earned at Bulwark, I'm studying at a top-15 law school without student loans. Without having to pay off student loans after graduation, I'll be able to select a law firm that requires fewer hours, giving me more time with my family. Working for Bulwark was one of the best professional and personal decisions I ever made.
